Respect and responsibility for the environment
Since 2017, SANCAR has implemented an internal strategy focused on the minimisation of the environmental impacts of production. SANCAR' products are certified according to the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, therefore, they contribute to efficient consumer protection. Thanks to the more than 1.000 solar panels installed, SANCAR is able to produce enough energy to be 100% self-sufficient during some hours of the day. In addition to this, and in order to take advantage of this energy and improve comfort, the company has installed a system to reuse the warm air mass from the compressor and vacuum turbines to warm the production area.

Distinguished as an example by the OEKO-TEX® association due to its management of chemical substances, SANCAR is able to recycle or reuse almost 100% of these substances and it aims to continue reducing and avoiding the risk of potential negative impacts during the application of chemical substances.
Social responsibility
Certified by amfori BSCI (level B), SANCAR' code of conduct is based on international labour standards, such as the International Labour Organization (ILO), the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Conventions on the Rights of the Child and on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, the UN Global Compact and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. In addition, Sancar’ policy includes the compliance with STeP by OEKO-TEX® and the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, regarding respect for Social Responsibility and Occupational Health and Safety.
